Andrew and his family relocated to China in January 2006 to commence living a dream of making a difference in the lives of some of the most needy children. Andrew's career had spanned twenty years in the finance and human resources industry, general management plus a founding directorship of a HR consulting company. Since 2001, global responsibility for human resource activities in 13 countries introduced him to the amazing challenges, opportunities and needs within China. Today, Andrew and his wife lead the initiatives of Captivating International, building relationships with Chinese officials and local community partners and securing funding through active participation from organisations and individuals throughout the world.

Julie, along with husband Andrew and five year old son Tyler, moved to China in January 2006 to start in motion a dream to impact single mothers and orphaned children. Post fifteen years in the corporate finance industry implementing financial systems and being responsible for the financial reporting of a Public listed company, Julie's desire was to put her energies and talents behind causes that made a direct and significant impact on children in desperate need of help. In addition, she had a burning passion to assist single mothers and widows struggling to survive. Julie is responsible for Captivating's sponsorship program and financial systems. Her real dream, however, is to grow a wide network of passionate women from all parts of the world for the sole purpose of supporting and placing value upon women and children in less fortunate circumstances - to see these women and children experience release, feeling worthy and empowered to make life-changing decisions.
